Extend life with 15 minutes of exercise per day
A recent study published in the renowned scientific journal "The Lancet" at the end of this year shows astonishing effects of even low levels of physical activity. 400,000 participants were examined for the effect of just 15 minutes of spot per day. Lifespan was extended by 3 years and all-cause mortality (death rate) was reduced by 14%. An additional 15 minutes per day of exercise lowered all-cause mortality by another 4%. Overall mortality was also broken down by individual disease and is shown in the following list.
Risk reduction to die from diseases by sport
- The risk of dying from cancer decreased by 10%.
- The risk of dying from vascular diseases decreased by 10%.
- The risk of dying from heart disease decreased by 25%.
- The risk of dying from a stroke decreased by 12
- The risk of dying from diabetes decreased by 11
