Dear Reader,
I am looking at the forests of the Odenwald right now - it is dawn and almost dark. The clouds are sinking lower and lower, merging with the bare branches of the trees. The winter landscape is dreaming - even without snow in oblivious silence. It occurs to me that I know this picture and this feeling already "forever". Already many decades ago the winter nature gave me the same feeling. Nature with your mood is constant in its appearance - it is just as able to convey eternity as the starry night sky. Christmas motif 2021
These memories come from a time when many things were very different. There was not this variety of impressions. Important were the people and events that surrounded you, the events that you could see and "touch". Many things were not so abstract, but lived reality. Today, the intensity of everyday life has become enormous. Stress and the flood of people's thoughts on the planet are increasing more and more and can potentially be heard by everyone due to an increasing networking of people. But not everything has changed. Nature has remained constant in its silent perfection. The nature and the basis of our life does not take part in the potential growth of the mental storm. Our thoughts build worlds that have no relation to the real world. We get into a whirlpool of thoughts and feel the burden of the demand on us by others and by ourselves. We call this reality - but is it? In the end, aren't they just thought models that have no real depth and find no mapping in true being? Try to let your thoughts rest, to pacify the constant inner dialogue within ourselves and to grasp being, space and the world in its being. The feeling of inner contentment, the feeling of "inner space", not bound to external conditions, is the basis for physical and mental health. This "resting in ourselves" is the prerequisite for creative work and truthful encounters with our fellow human beings. In this "space" there are no boundaries, no judgments, no discord, no dividing thoughts, but only the light of the world shining in all of us. I wish you a Merry Christmas and much depth and contemplation between the years as a basis for a good New Year.
