Organic OPC found in the marketplace is almost exclusively made from simple grape seed flour. However, grape seed flour contains only a few secondary plant substances and therefore also little OPC. Grape seed flour, even when derived from organic grapes or even when derived from grape seeds that are conventionally grown, is significantly cheaper than grape seed extract.

"OPC from Organic Grapes - GOLD" is a high-quality extract. Here appreciable OPC proportions are present, so its name is well deserved. Most grape seed flours contain between 1 - 3 % polyphenols, i.e. 10 - 30 mg per gram. Our natural grape seed extract contains 70 % polyphenols. The grapes for "OPC from Organic Grapes Gold" come from controlled organic cultivation in Europe. With this innovation, Biotikon® introduces a new quality standard for OPC products. The organically grown grape seeds, coupled with the gentle extraction process, result in a high-quality OPC extract with a high OPC content.

In contrast to organic OPC from grape seed flour, OPC organic extracts are rarely found. This is not only because of the cultivation, but also the extraction process must be certified organic. It is manufactured by use of gentle production technologies without heat or additives in the capsule filling. No industrially produced silicic acid (silicon dioxide) flow aid. Biotikon® does not use silicon dioxide or silicic acid (SiO2, known as E551) as a flow aid. Without the use of processing agents, which are not required to be mentioned on the packaging. Biotikon®️ products are manufactured in accordance with legal requirements and in compliance with the HACCP concept to ensure food safety.
