ImmunePLUS by Dr. Alexander Michalzik M.D. contains 350 mg of high-quality Yestimun® 1.3 / 1.6-beta-d-glucan complex per capsule with 85% pure beta-glucan, measured in dry matter.

Decisive for the quality of the glucans is the molecule length. 1.3 / 1.6-beta-d-glucan has a molecular weight of 225 mmol and is thus of higher quality than fragments such as 1.3-glucans, etc. The longer the molecule is, the better the quality.

Yestimun® glucans are gently extracted without the use of strong alkaline agents and without acid hydrolysis. This is necessary to keep the acid-sensitive beta-1.6-glucan side molecule chain intact. This results in a 22% compound ratio of beta-1.6-glucan. Purity degree is at least 85% (dry matter).

The human immune system contains so-called PRR receptors (pattern recognition receptors). These receptors recognize structures of microbes, the so-called PAMPs (recently MAMPs, microbe associated molecular patterns). The most important PRR receptors are the dectin-1 receptor, the complement receptor 3 (CR 3) and the toll-like receptor (TLR). These receptors can be found in a wide variety of immune cells, such as monocytes macrophages, dentritic cells, neutrophils, eosinophils and natural killer cells, but also directly in the epithelial cells of the intestine. Above all, the “generals of the immune system”, the macrophages, are already active in the mucous membranes.

It is manufactured by use of gentle production technologies without heat or additives in the capsule filling. No industrially produced silicic acid (silicon dioxide) flow aid. Biotikon® does not use silicon dioxide or silicic acid (SiO2, known as E551) as a flow aid. Without the use of processing agents, which are not required to be mentioned on the packaging. Daily Recommended Dose:
1 to 2 capsules Immune Plus Beta-Glucan in between meals (on an empty stomach) with fluids, twice a day.
