Quercetin is a well-known flavonoid (secondary plant substance) and is found in many plants. These flavonoids give plants the great advantage of optimizing their own survival rate by protecting themselves from harmful environmental influences.

Like many other phytochemicals (secondary plant compounds) flavonoids are antioxidants. A well-known example is also vitamin C. These antioxidants prevent the reactions of free radicals in the human body. Since these reactions can damage the cells, flavonoids, such as vitamin C, are considered to be cell-protective.

In addition, flavonoids can protect the polyunsaturated fatty acids in the body and promote the absorption of minerals and vitamins.

The human body cannot produce bioflavonoids, so they have to be supplied in the diet. However, it is problematic that most flavonoids have a rather moderate absorption.

Therefore, it is reasonable to take quercetin with other bio-enhancers, such as vitamin C, to increase bioavailability.

Furthermore, it is recommended to take quercetin in smaller amounts (e.g. 2 times 300 mg) distributed throughout the day, thereby achieving a constant concentration in your blood level.

Biotikon® does not use silicon dioxide or silicic acid (SiO2, known as E551) as a flow aid. Without the use of processing agents, which are not required to be mentioned on the packaging. Daily Dosage:
Take 1 Quercetin capsule twice a day with liquid after a meal.
