ORAC and TEAC, two antioxidant evaluation tests in comparison.
ORAC (oxygen radical antioxidant capacity) and TEAC (tolox equivalent antioxidant capacity) are both tests to measure the antioxidant capacity of natural substances and beverages, such as grape seed extracts with OPC, pomegranate juice, green tea extracts, etc.
In principle, both test methods are similar in structure. However, the ORAC value is more commonly used internationally and is more accurate when analyzing complex mixtures of vital substances.
ORAC and TEAC in comparison According to the current state of knowledge, there is no scientifically sufficiently confirmed knowledge about the ORAC value, which influence it has on physiological processes in the human body and its maintenance of health.
