Vitamin B Complex by Dr. med. Michalzik
contains all the B vitamins. In addition, betaine, choline and myo-inositol are included (plant-based). Vitamin B2, B6, B12 and folic acid are B vitamins that cannot be directly used by the body in the conventional form. None-bioactive forms can properly unfold their full effects only after being converted in the body. Biotikon’s Vitamin B Complex already contains these 4 special B vitamins in bioactive form.
Vitamin B12 exists in 2 bioactive forms, which are consequently also referred to as coenzyme B12: methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. Methylcobalamin is present mainly in the cytoplasm of cells, adenosylcobalamin is mainly found in the mitochondria. Vitamin B Complex by Biotikon therefore contains both coenzyme B12 (vitamin B12) forms.
