The DNA or deoxyribonucleic acid is the chemical structure of the genetic material. The DNA contains genes. Genes have a specific code that determines the structure of certain proteins, especially enzymes. The human body needs these proteins and enzymes to maintain its functionality.

Certain substances such as vitamins can influence the activity of genes (gene expression) mostly indirectly. Substances which directly influence the activity of genes are called transcription factors.

However, modern research also shows that external influences also have an effect on the activity of specific genes (gene expression). The umbrella term for this phenomenon is "epigenetics". Thus, many natural substances, but also stress or feelings can influence the gene expression, i.e. gene activity.

Unwanted changes of the DNA are called mutations. A mutation can be triggered by "oxidative stress". The body has repair mechanisms which can partially repair genetic defects.

DNA Protector Formula contains natural substances such as glutathione, R-alpha-lipoic acid, resveratrol, vitamin B2, green tea, Camu camu, OPC, zinc and vitamin E which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The following structures are protected from oxidative damage: DNA, proteins and lipids.

It is manufactured by use of gentle production technologies without heat or additives in the capsule filling. No industrially produced silicic acid (silicon dioxide) flow aid. Biotikon® does not use silicon dioxide or silicic acid (SiO2, known as E551) as a flow aid. Without the use of processing agents, which are not required to be mentioned on the packaging. Biotikon®️ products are manufactured in accordance with legal requirements and in compliance with the HACCP concept to ensure food safety.

Recommended Use

Daily Dosage: Adults take 1 capsule twice a day or 2 capsules once a day with liquids after a meal.

The foundation for product testing "Stiftung Warentest" states that those may contain nanoparticles. Silicic acid or silicon dioxide in dietary supplements has been discouraged. Bio Suisse has terminated approval of silica or silicon dioxide. Silica from horsetail is not to be confused with this industrially produced silica.
