Curcuma Piperine by Dr. Alexander Michalzik M.D. contains natural curcumin from curcuma longa extract and piper nigrum extract with 95% piperine.

Frequently, curcuma products available on the market are contaminated.

Curcumin, the most important ingredient of curcuma, is very valuable, but now it also can be produced synthetically. Often some percentage of natural curcumin is mixed with a considerable amount of artificially produced curcumin, so as to disguise the non-natural origin of the synthetic materials. Synthetically manufactured curcumin is considerably cheaper.

The only method to determine the naturalness of a curcuma product is the so-called isotope measurement. This is an elaborate, expensive analytical method that only a few institutes carry out. By measuring C14 carbon atoms in the material, one can determine whether components of petroleum are present: synthetic curcumin is produced from petroleum, and can be told from non-natural curcumin by this method.

Curcuma by Dr. Michalzik with 95 % Curcuminoiden containing up to 30 - 40 times Curcumin than a simple Curcuma-powder. Simple turmeric powder contains about 1 - 3 % Curcumin. The curcumin content of our 90 capsules then corresponds to the curcumin content of approximately 2700 capsules (30 x 90) a non-concentrated product. This is also the reason why these are offered supposedly low.

Turmeric and Curcuma longa are synonymous terms; they both contain the vital substance curcumin.

Curcuma Piperine Bioavailibility

Bioavailability of curcumin is greatly increased by using piper nigrum extract (piperine content higher than 95%). With an improvedbioavailability of 2,000%,440 mg of our curcuma extract is equivalent to the8,800 mg of curcuma extractper capsule which would have to be consumed in order to have the same bioavailable amount.

Biotikon® does not use silicon dioxide or silicic acid (SiO2, known as E551) as a flow aid. Without the use of processing agents, which are not required to be mentioned on the packaging. Biotikon®️ products are manufactured in accordance with legal requirements and in compliance with the HACCP concept to ensure food safety.
