The Book
Today the theatre in Switzerland is more diverse than anywhere else in the world. The country has one of the liveliest theatre scenes ever.
WasWhat long appeared a hindrance, the different languages and regions of the country, has proven fruitful in the long run. Switzerland almost appears to be a small model of Europe.
Peter Michalzik®️ traces this development. He deals with almost all regions of the country, the different languages and cultural areas, drama and dance, opera and the independent scene. The eminent artistic personalities of Switzerland are shown in words and pictures of the great performances of the past hundred years.
