The recommended daily dose contains up to 674 mg of pure calcium, which in its organically bound citrate form is particularly well tolerated. Il est fabriqué selon des technologies de production douces, sans chaleur ni additifs dans le remplissage des capsules et sans utilisation d'agents de transformation qui ne doivent pas être mentionnés sur l'emballage.

Aucun agent d'écoulement d'acide silicique (dioxyde de silicium) produit industriellement. Biotikon n'utilise pas de dioxyde de silicium ou d'acide silicique (SiO2, connu sous le nom d'E551) comme agent d'écoulement. La fondation pour les tests de produits "Stiftung Warentest" indique que ceux-ci peuvent contenir des nanoparticules.
